Revising writings

 Hello Everyone!

This week we had our blogs sent out to our peers so they could give us feedback on our posts for us to re-write and improve on and we also had to read four articles to help us re-write our blog post properly. After reading my feedback and the articles I think I have a good understanding of how to improve on my blog post. I have a good understanding now on the proper layout of a paragraph, A strong paragraph has the main idea in the first sentence to inform the audience with no confusion. In the beginning you must state one idea clearly, in the middle you must elaborate and explain the idea that was introduced in the beginning, In the conclusion you back up the main idea of the paragraph and move on to the next paragraph. 

The article I found the most helpful for me in my future blogs was the "paragraph-level revision questions" as I will definitely use these questions for myself before I upload my blogs as they are extremely useful and they will refine my future blogs, For example one of the questions to ask yourself is "what is the main point you are trying to prove in this paragraph" which is one of the most important steps to a strong paragraph. I also know now to highlight the topic, evidence you provide in the paragraph and the conclusion of your analysis. 

Those are all of the points I found important from reading the articles and I will definitely use these tips for myself in my blog posts now. I found this experience interesting and something new, I most definitely can see how just a bit of feedback from our peers is so useful for us as they can see our mistakes clearly and it will polish up our blog post even if the review is negative it will help us a lot more. I do think that after I read my feedback on my blog post and when i went to re-write it, It definitely had a stronger layout in my paragraphs and my information was put together more organised and it was made more clearer to my audience to read. I found this blog assignment very interesting and I feel like it was an essential for all of us to realise on how to improve on our blogs ourselves.

 Hi Everyone! Today I will be talking about my finished production of my project and how me and my group got on during the weeks doing this project. We have everything finished at this point. All that is left is to put everything together and make sure there are no mistakes or problems with the video. Rewrite #3

    Hi Everyone, This week we made more progress with our groups for our projects. We met with our group to discuss all the research we have done for our project during reading week. The topic of the research was how cultural remixes were taken from cultures. The topic of the research was how different cultures influences in todays films, TV shows, etc. When we met up we decided for the video that we don't want our faces included. Kris has taken responsibility of animation for our video. We also decided for the video that we will use the B-roll step. This step is basically where you get all the shots/details for the video. We are adding this to make the video interesting to watch for the viewers.  When we met up this week in our Introduction to Digital Media lab we decided to start to write our script for next week. Another Revision

  Hi Everyone! This week I had my peers give feedback on one of my blog posts, and I had to rewrite my blog post based on the feedback I got to create a better post. I found this week's blog to be quite difficult as the feedback was very positive and I honestly didn't know what to rewrite or what to do as I was happy with the post already. It took me a bit more time than I expected but I did end up rewriting it successfully and I'm even more happy with how it turned out in the end. I read an article that really helped me rewrite my blog. In the article what really helped me was when I looked at the relevance and importance of the content that was in the feedback. I realised that I needed to give more factual information and less of waffling about unnecessary information in my blogs.
