Peer Review #1

 Hi Everyone!

This week for my assignment I had to write feedback on my peers blogs. This is something new to me as I have never given feedback to someones else's work in such detail. I was a little confused on how to give some good feedback that hopefully would help my peers in the future but I read a few articles for help and I tried my best to give my peers some advice. After I read my peers blogs I think it also helped me for my future blogs too as their blogs were very different to mine even though we get the same assignments we all took different approaches to them. I have definitely learnt better ways to approach my blogs from my peers and also their blogs have given me many different ideas that I wouldn't have been able to think of. 

I think giving and receiving feedback from peers is absolutely a good assignment and it is necessary to improve our productivity, promote personal and professional growth as helping each other amongst the group will only improve our skills and when we get feedback from our peers its not from one person with one opinion, you get feedback from multiple people with multiple opinions which I think is more sufficient than just one person. The benefits of feedback in my eyes is that it increases confidence for each other especially since we are giving feedback to our peers, creates a greater performance and it increases motivation as when you receive positive feedback it will motivate you to do more. I think that even negative feedback is effective once it includes valuable information for the other student to make important decisions for their blogs it is considered to me as good feedback. I think that every person that writes an article/blog/book needs feedback as its the only effective way to improve on our skills and to correct our mistakes.

 Hi Everyone! Today I will be talking about my finished production of my project and how me and my group got on during the weeks doing this project. We have everything finished at this point. All that is left is to put everything together and make sure there are no mistakes or problems with the video. When I was first put into my group for cultural remixes I did panic as I literally had no clue what this topic was about, as we started to talk with each other in the group about the topic I actually started to get really invested in this project. Rewrite #3

    Hi Everyone, This week we made more progress with our groups for our projects. We met with our group to discuss all the research we have done for our project during reading week. The topic of the research was how cultural remixes were taken from cultures. The topic of the research was how different cultures influences in todays films, TV shows, etc. When we met up we decided for the video that we don't want our faces included. Kris has taken responsibility of animation for our video. We also decided for the video that we will use the B-roll step. This step is basically where you get all the shots/details for the video. We are adding this to make the video interesting to watch for the viewers.  When we met up this week in our Introduction to Digital Media lab we decided to start to write our script for next week. Another Revision

  Hi Everyone! This week I had my peers give feedback on one of my blog posts, and I had to rewrite my blog post based on the feedback I got to create a better post. I found this week's blog to be quite difficult as the feedback was very positive and I honestly didn't know what to rewrite or what to do as I was happy with the post already. It took me a bit more time than I expected but I did end up rewriting it successfully and I'm even more happy with how it turned out in the end. I read an article that really helped me rewrite my blog. In the article what really helped me was when I looked at the relevance and importance of the content that was in the feedback. I realised that I needed to give more factual information and less of waffling about unnecessary information in my blogs. I also thought about the things I could have included and why I didn't include them. Where I was going with my sentences in some areas and if they were clear to the audience and not just me....
